2010 Florida Library Youth Program Workshop Registration
The State Library and Archives of Florida is presenting its annual FLYP workshop with program ideas for summer 2010.
Youth services staff who are involved in planning and presenting summer library programs in Florida's public libraries, as well as media specialists, are invited to attend this free, all-day workshop.
The workshop will focus on children’s (ages 5-11) programming in the morning and tween/teen’s (ages 12-18) programming in the afternoon. Instructors will demonstrate six complete programs during each session and the attendees will participate in singing, dancing, games, and crafts. Dress casually to participate in activities.
This workshop is funded under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, administered by the Florida Department of State, State Library and Archives of Florida.
