FLA wins ALA advocacy award

The Florida Library Association (FLA) is the first recipient of ALA's new President's Award for Advocacy.  This award is sponsored by the Association for Library Trustees, Advocates, Friiends and Foundations (ALTAFF).

FLA has been honored for its work in restoring State Aid funding for Florida's public libraries in 2009.  More information about the award is at:
