Baker & Taylor posted selection lists for CSLP bibliographies
Dear Librarian,
In support of the national 2009 Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP) the summer reading bibliographies provided in this year’s manuals have been posted as Selection Lists in Baker & Taylor’s databases: TS3 and School Select.
As provided by CSLP there are five bibliographies for both the children’s and young adult’s themes, respectively Be Creative @ Your Library and Express Yourself @ Your Library. The lists, which can be found here, are named to correspond with the CSLP manual.
There are also additional lists, “Librarians Picks” created by collection development librarians to support these themes, with recent and popular titles. These bibliographies are accessible to all Baker & Taylor customers; inventory levels have been increased and are being closely monitored to provide quick fulfillment.
If you are not part of the CSLP, but would like to have your summer reading bibliographies available through Baker & Taylor, please contact me. Not only will Baker & Taylor post your library’s list but we will work with publishers to ensure that they are prepared, and have inventory to meet your ordering requirements, especially on older titles. We look forward to supporting your summer reading needs and wish you the best of luck with your state libraries’ summer programs.
Respectfully Yours,
Jill Faherty
