Summer Reading 2010

Make a Splash with a Puppet Show - Summer Reading 2010

Hello, Florida librarians!

Curious Moon Puppets' shadow puppet production of Fish 'n' Ships will really make a splash at your library this summer. More information can be found here:  http://www.curiousmoon.com/Shows.asp?ID=9

A brief description follows:

No one has ever been able to solve the mystery of what is haunting the old, sunken pirate ship. And none of the other fish in school believes that amateur detective Fry can solve the mystery either. With encouragement from the audience, and armed with his Deepwater Detective badge and Ocean Floor Trail Guide, Fry sets out on a journey across the ocean to find the ship and what is haunting it.

This shadow puppet show is presented using an overhead projector and includes water effects, scrolling scenery, shadow puppet tricks of the trade, and over 20 colorful puppets. More than just a puppet show, "Fish ’n’ Ships" is a sing along extravaganza of old favorites and some new songs that everyone will enjoy learning.
