Dreamin’ Green with Mrs. Kate - 2012 Program

Mrs. Kate’s puppet, Timothy the Turtle has been sleeping in his shell, dreaming green dreams. Awakened by the children, he looks around and becomes alarmed at the litterbug mess on the floor! Who will help him clean it up? Timothy chooses audience members to help him “clean up the environment,” introducing the eco-songs in Mrs. Kate’s program. From the Okefenokee Swamp to the Florida scrub, the children will learn about the birds, animals and natural habitats of the Sunshine State. Original and interactive, Mrs. Kate’s unique style delights both kids and parents. One hour of family-friendly, educational fun, suitable for all ages.

Hello librarians,  As you begin to make plans for your summer 2010 FLYP shows, please consider me as a performer.  Here's a quote from Sherry Durham, Youth Librarian at Central Ridge Library in Beverly Hills, FL:

"The children were entirely caught up in your high-energy, original and educational presentation.  The great deal of well-planned audience participation could have been one of the main reasons that the students got so much out of the experience.  We all loved the bi-lingual aspects of the show, and your very humorous songs were outstanding."

The only weeks I will be scheduling performances this summer are:  June 14, June 21, and June 28.
